The facilities of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering are located on both campuses of the University of Western Macedonia in Kozani. All lecture halls, as well as most laboratories, are situated at the ZEP campus, while some laboratories remain at the Koila campus. The Department's facilities include: Department Administration Service, auditoriums, lecture rooms, libraries, teaching staff offices, and state-of-the-art laboratories covering the following areas: electronics, informatics, telecommunications, robotics, digital signals and computer architecture, digital health and biomedical engineering, electrotechnics, electronics, power electronics, electrical measurements, automated control systems, electronic constructions, electric machines, internal electrical installations, industrial electrical installations, microcomputers and PC networks, renewable energy sources, and the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power.
